Artists for Conservation is a Canadian based international non-profit. AFC represents 500 artists from 30 countries,in the nature/wildlife art genre, who are committed to conservation. Many of the world's most recognized names in the field are actively involved.
Our mission is to support wildlife and habitat conservation and environmental education through art that celebrates nature.
Through international art exhibits, collaborative art-science expeditions, annual festival, awards, publications, and leading online initiatives, we engage, inspire and inform the public, and empower passionate professional artists as effective ambassadors for the environment.
AFC's flagship event, the annual Artists for Conservation Festival (#AFCFestival2020), returns for a 10th year to beautiful Vancouver, Canada - a one-of-a-kind, international cultural event supporting and celebrating nature.
It's a highly anticipated event in the nature-inspired art field including AFC's annual world's top conservation-themed art exhibit with over 90 original artworks for sale in support of conservation, documentary films about art and conservation, special lectures, live painting demos, adult and youth workshops, music and cultural performances.
Each year, many AFC artists travel from around the world to take part in this very special gathering. It's a unique opportunity to connect with the art and conservation community and for members to connect with each other. Our events celebrate nature with art, music, and wildlife.
